Communion

Let's talk about

Communion is a sacred tradition of the Christian faith. We believe that the practice of Holy Communion allows us to reflect on the sacrifice that Christ made when he died on the cross for our sins. We observe communion once each month in worship.

We at Grace Presbyterian Church believe that children of the church are ready to participate in receiving the sacraments of communion once they understand and accept the sacrifice of our Lord, Jesus Christ. We offer communion to 3rd grade and up after attending a single first communion lesson, or discussing the practice of the sacrament at home with their families.

Here we have included some resources for you to learn about what Communion is, why it is important to us, and some quick theology tidbits. Communion allows us to join together as a community and the body of Christ. This is a holy, and remarkable tradition of the Christian Church and we would love to share in it with you.
